Maine Maritime Sits in Seventh Place after Day 2 at Little East Conference Championships

The Mariners totaled 101 points in the 11-school field

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- With Day 2 in the books, the Maine Maritime Academy women's swimming and diving team stands in seventh place with 101 points at the 11-school 2025 Little East Conference Championships hosted at the Boston Sports Institute on Friday. Keene State College leads the field with 282 points.

Maine Maritime's best finish in the finals was fifth place in a couple events: 200-yard freestyle relay in 1 minute and 46.8 seconds and sophomore Claire MacDonald in the 100-butterfly in 1:04.81, 

Senior Natasha Kopeck is third with 358.75 points after the 1-meter diving preliminaries. And junior Rayelle Brewer was first (and ninth overall) in the 50-free consolation final (26.20).
