CASTINE--Senior
Natasha Kopeck set a Bok Pool record to help highlight a terrific 149-111 Senior Day victory for the Maine Maritime Academy women's swimming and diving team over visiting Saint Joseph's College of Maine in their home finale on Saturday.
Kopeck scored 210.75 points in 1-meter diving to also set the women's school record in that event. She also claimed first place in the 50-yard backstroke with a clocking of 31.56 seconds.
Junior
Rayelle Brewer also was a double-winner in the 100-freestyle in 59.54 and 50-butterfly in 30.68.
Eva Schulz also celebrated her senior day with a win in the 500-free in 6 minutes and 32.39 seconds. Classmate
Liza Zhukov won in her home finale with first place in the 100-back in 1:10.40.
Junior
Kylie Cantlon took home the 200-freestyle in 2:19.54 to give MMA seven wins on the day.
Maine Maritime is back in action next Saturday (1 p.m.) at local rival Husson University for dual meet in Bangor.
