BRISTOL, R.I.--The Maine Maritime Academy women's swimming team finished in fifth place with 81 points at the Roger Williams University Invitational on Saturday. The 200-yard medley and 200-freestyle relay teams both had top-5 finishes to lead the way for the Mariners.
In the 200 medley, Maine Maritime was fifth out of 10 entries with a time of 2 minutes and 10.67 seconds. JuniorÂ

The 200-free placed fourth out of 12 entries in 1:54.74, led by seniorsÂ

The Mariners on Nov. 9 and 10 will travel to the state of Vermont to compete against Norwich University in Northfield on Saturday (noon) and NCAA Division II Saint Michael's College in Colchester on Sunday (1 p.m.).
