Waterville, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy women's swimming and diving competed at the Maine Collegiate Winter Invite over the weekend. The two-day event consisted of 45 events in which the Mariners placed eighth out of nine teams.

Day One Highlights
- Relay team of Rayelle Brewer (Cheyenne, Wyo.), Liza Zhukov (Barrington, R.I.), Natasha Kopeck (Manchester Center, Vt.) and Megan Durrua (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) placed 19th in the 200-yard free relay with a time of 1:46.47
- Milo Cook-Sharp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) placed 28th in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:56.17
- Zhukov finished 25th in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 30.38
- Brewer placed 21st in the 50-yard free with a time of 25.37Â
Day Two Highlights
- Relay team of Zhukov, Durrua, Brewer, and Kopeck placed 21st in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:59.19, while Roxanna MacGregor (Eastport, Maine), Sage Dentremont (Swan's Island, Maine), Cook-Sharp and Kylie Cantlon (Burke, Va.) placed 26th with a time of 2:06.65
- Cook-Sharp finished 20th in the 400-yard IM with a time of 5:25.45, while Cantlon finished 21st with a time of 5:27.32
- Brewer finished 19th in the 200-yard free with a time of 2:00.20
- Cantlon finished 13th in the 1650-yard free with a time of 20:22.69, Eva Schulz (Evergreen, Colo.)Â placed 14th with a time of 21:11.64, and Cook-Sharp finished 16th with a time of 21:25.48
- Zhukov finished 26th in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:25.64
- Brewer finished 26th in the 100-yard free with a time of 55.83
- Durrua placed 24th in the 200-yard breaststroke with 2:48.32
- Cook-Sharp finished 15th in the 200-yard fly with a time of 2:41.34
- Kopeck finished 13th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 159.50 and Emma Brondum (Cornwall, N.Y.) finished 17th with a score of 105.65
- Relay team of Zhukov, Durrua, Cantlon, and Brewer finished 115th in the 400-yard free relay with a time of 3:58.13
