CASTINE, Maine -- Maine Maritime Academy men's swimming & diving swam to a 157-39 victory over University of New England in a virtual dual meet.

• The relay team of John Markillie (Richland, Wash.), Patrick McEneaney (Suffolk, Va.), Jace Chouinard (North Fort Myers, Fla.) and Kyle Smit (Bainbridge Island, Wash) finished first in the 200 yard medley (1:51.97)
• Chouinard, Markillie and Liam Naturale (Dingman's Ferry, Pa.) took the top three spots in the 50 yard backstroke
• John Egger (Marion, Mass.) took the top spot in the 1000 yard freestyle (12:09.03)
• Jesse Karnes (Bangor, Maine) placed second in the 200 yard freestyle (2:42.49)
• McEneaney claimed first in the 50 yard breaststroke (31.96), the 50 yard freestyle (24.21) and the 200 yard IM (2:18.29)
• Cameron Sprott (Hampton, Va.) finished first in the 100 yard freestyle (54.40), followed by teammate Oscar Gonzalez (Cooper City, Fla.) in second (1:01.11)
• Chouinard claimed first in the 100 yard backstroke (57.88) abs the 50 yard butterfly (25.70)
• Sprott took second place in the 50 yard butterfly (25.87) and the 200 yard IM (2:18.36)
• Naturale was the top finisher in the 1000 yard breaststroke (1:09.44)
• The relay team of Naturale, Smit, Karnes and Egger finished first in the 400 yard freestyle

The Mariners return to action next Friday, March 12 for day one of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Virtual Invitational.
