LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Maine Maritime Academy men's swimming & diving team returned to the pool at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Open Championship on Saturday hosted by Bucknell University.
The Mariners were led by senior
Oliver Cox who finished seventh in the one-meter diving final with a score of 188.65.
Additionally, MMA's 800-yard freestyle relay team of freshman
Dominic Miele, senior
Aidan Burke, freshman
Timmy Reda and senior James Creegan finished 10th overall with a time of 7:40.08.
The Mariners also competed in the 200-yard medley relay finishing 12th with a time of 1:38.92 as the team of freshman
Connor Hedstrom, Reda, Miele and Cox competed in the B Final.
MMA returns to the pool on Sunday for the final day of the ECAC championship looking to pick up ground in the team standings as the Mariners currently sit ninth with 73 points.
