CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 draw against SUNY Delhi on Sunday in North Atlantic Conference play at Ritchie Field.

Maine Maritime (1-0-3, 0-0-2 NAC) held a slight edge in the stat sheet, finishing with a 7-6 advantage in shots and a 2-0 advantage in shots on goal over the Broncos (1-3-3, 0-1-1 NAC).

The Mariners managed just one shot in the first half, which was on target, while limiting Delhi to one attempt that failed to test the keeper.

In the second half, MMA again contained the Broncos, holding them without a shot on goal in five tries. The Mariners generated another chance late but could not break through, as the match ended scoreless.

Maine Maritime returns to Ritchie Field on Friday to host Fisher College at 7:30 p.m.
