ANNAPOLIS, Md.--The Maine Maritime Academy men's and women's swimming & diving teams made quite the splash on Day 2 at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy at Lejeune Hall. The ECACs conclude Sunday with Day 3 action starting at 9 a.m., followed by the evening session at 4 p.m.
Maine Maritime diving recorded its first-ever ECAC podium finishes with two on the men's side and one on the women's. Junior
Oliver Cox was the runner-up in 3-meter diving and third in 1m. Senior
Natasha Kopeck finished in eighth place in 1m with 149.6 points.
Maine Maritime sits in 12th place out of 22 schools with 59 points in the men's standings, ranking as the top NCAA Division III program. The Mariner women are 21st with 11 points.
