STANDISH, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy men's swimming and diving team defeated the St. Joseph's College Monks 104-14.
 
Men's Team Highlights:

• Carson Trout brought home two first place finishes for the Mariners in the 200 yard freestyle (1:55.40) and 100 yard IM (59.69).
• The 200 yard medley relay team comprised of Nicholas Been, Aidan Walls, Brennden Dion, and Oscar Gonzalez completed the event in 1:49.30, placing first for the Mariners.
• Ponce Saltysiak placed first in the 100 yard freestyle (53.66).
• The Mariners earned another first place finish in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:08.58 from John Gilpin.
• Brennden Dion placed second in the 50 yard freestyle (24.42) and the 100 yard butterfly (1:01.43).

Up Next: The Mariners return to their home pool on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1:00 pm to race against Husson University.
