LYNDONVILLE, Vt. – Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball team (9-4,4-0) remained perfect in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play with a road win over the Vermont State Lyndon Hornets (4-11,0-7). The Mariners won 56-40.

Evelyn Dagan led the Mariners with 12 points, four rebounds, and one steal.

Dagan started the contest strong scoring the first five points unanswered to give the Mariners an early lead. The Mariners held onto their lead throughout the first half, going into halftime with a five-point lead.

The Mariners continued a dominant performance after the half. Their biggest lead came in the fourth, with the Mariners up by as much as 17.

Erianna Moore and
Jacquelin Castro each added eight points for the Mariners in the contest.
Makenzie Monzon led all athletes securing nine rebounds for the Mariners.

The Mariners return to the court tomorrow against the Hornets at 3:00 pm.
