WENHAM, Mass. – Maine Maritime Academy swimming competed against Gordon College on Saturday afternoon at the Bennett Center.
The men's team defeated the Fighting Scots, 121-44, while the women fell 111.5-92.5.
Men's Meet Highlights:
- Miles Schoenberg (Seattle, Wash.) took first in the 50 yard back (43.00)
- Matthew Link (Sparta, N.J) placed first in the 50 yard breast (35.10) and 100 yard breast (1:18.41)
- Joshua Roberts (Saco, Maine) took first in the 100 yard fly (59.96) and first in the 100 yard IM (1:03.42)
- Brad Tibbetts (Boothbay Harbor, Maine) finished first in the 100 yard back (1:13.41)
- Patrick McEneaney (Suffolk, Va.) claimed first in the 50 yard fly (30.15)
Women's Meet Highlights:
- Kaitlyn Reny (Lewiston, Maine) took first in the 100 yard free (1:06.29), the 50 yard fly (32.81) and the 100 yard IM (1:14.81)
- Amber Durant (Mansfield, Mass.) claimed first in the 100 yard back (1:19.57)
Up Next: The Mariners head to Brandeis University tomorrow to take on the Judges at 1:00 pm. The women's squad will also face Merrimack College, along with Brandeis, in a double-dual meet.
