Men's Cross Country Places Sixth at Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Maine Maritime placed sixth at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday.

Bate College placed seven six runners in the top 10 to earn the team victory, and John Stansel clinched the individual victory with a time of 26:04.90 on the 8k course.

The Mariners were led by freshman Zachary Kinsman (Lebanon, N.H) who finished 46th with a time of 29:25.64, Wyatt LaPage (Portsmouth, NH) finished 58th with a time of 30:12.81, followed closely by teammate Chase Hughes (Yarmouth, Maine) who placed 60th overall with a time of 30:22.16.

Spencer Boonstra (Amston, Conn.) and Victor Skorapa (Freeport, Maine) finished back-to-back in 71st and 72nd respectively.

Maine Maritime will return to action on Saturday, October 4th  where they will split the team and travel to Keene State for the Keene State Invitational, and Colby College for the Colby Invitational.
