Maine Maritime's men's cross country team opened the 2014 season at the Fourth Annual Mayflower Kickoff with a seventh place finish in a field of 16 teams.
Babson College grabbed the team victory, narrowly defeating Colby-Sawyer College who placed the first two runners in the event. Norwich University, Salve Regina, and New England College rounded out the top five.
Zachary Kinsman was the fourth North Atlantic Conference runner to cross the finish line, for seventh place overall.
