Presque Isle, ME - The MMA Mariners Cross Country team won the University of Maine at Presque Isle Invitational on Saturday. MMA runner Matthew Methot (Portland, ME) won the individual honors with a time of 28:39.

The Mariners finished the meet with 18 points while the Owls from Presque Isle finished with 41 points. Unity College and UMaine Machias rounded out the top four spots.

Matt Methot finished first out of the 20 runners while Greg Baribault (Amston, CT) came in third with a time of 29:41. Lucas Miller (Belfast, ME) finished 5th while Evan Vashon (Waterville, ME) and Noel Deserres-Gauthier (Dover, NH) finished 8th and 10th respectively. Patrick Lindsey (Winthrop, ME) rounded out the MMA runners in14th place.
